Excuses
Mr. Harry is very frustrated this morning. Most of the students in his class did not do their
homework yesterday. Benny said that he did do his homework, but he left it on the table and the dog ate it.
Sally said that her brother was sick and they had to take him to the hospital. Mark said he was really tired
after his baseball game and he fell asleep early. Kelly said that she forgot her notebook at school and Jim
said that he had a stomach ache and his mother had to take him to the doctor. Mr. Harryiupset because he
cannot teach the lesson plan that he had prepared for today’s lesson.
