PLOT:
Nick Young’s grandmother, Su Yi, is dying. Her mother, Eleanor is instigating her son to warm up to his grandmother to inherit her property. The Shang-Young clan has an internal conflict and a wealth battle to take part in the inheritance.
CONFLICT:
When Su Yi died, Astrid got a hold of her expensive jewelries and dresses. However, she is blackmailed because of ranchy video of her having an affair. The inheritance of some holdings and wealth angered family members. The family members go out their way to destroy their own family members out of the inheritance. Nick buys his aunts out of the Tyersall Park.
CLIMAX:
A Thai Prince visits Nick in which Nick learned that the Tyersall Park was a haven for British and Chinese soldiers and agents who led the resistance against the Japanese Colonizers with the help of Su Yi.
THEME:
No amount of money can make any family happy.
